Kuramathi A la Carte All Inclusive – Is it Worth It ?

If you are looking for a holiday to The Maldives then you might want to consider a holiday to Kuramathi Island Resort.

Kuramathi offers two types of All Inclusive accommodation. The “standard” All Inclusive and the “A la Carte All Inclusive”.

What’s the difference between the two All Inclusive types ?  This article will explain the difference to you.

Standard All Inclusive at Kuramathi includes the following:

Main Meals: Your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffets in either Haruge, Malaafaiy or Farivalhu restaurant. A restaurant is allocated to you based on your villa category.

A la Carte All Inclusive includes:

You get to choose which restaurant you eat in every day, although, reservations are required. The choice of restaurants is:

Haruge, Malaafaiy and Farivalhu – Buffet dining
Siam Garden – Thai Cuisine
Tandoor Mahal – Indian Cuisine
The Reef – seafood restaurant  (cosy and romantic)
Island Barbeque – Grill on the beach
Palm Pizzeria & Gelateria – Mediterranean

Our opinion

In our opinion and that of our clients it is well worth upgrading to A la Carte all inclusive. We think that the food and service is of a better quality and also the whole experience becomes more special. If you can afford it go for it !

 Drinks at Kuramathi

A la carte all inclusive includes the same drinks as standard all inclusive apart from that you get wine by the bottle. Both all inclusives include the following:

Champagne, Bottled Wine and Premium Brands are not included. Any items not included are indicated in the menus.

-Soft Drinks such as Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Soda Water
– Canned Juices such as orange juice, pineapple juice, apple juice
– Spirits/Liquors
– Cocktails – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
– Wines – house wines by the glass
– Beer – Carlsberg draft beer
– Water – house mineral water

Minibar in the Villa: Non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks and house mineral water is included.

All you have to do now is decide whether you think the extra cost for a la carte all inclusive is worth it. It does, of course depend on your budget but if you are going to go to this beautiful island then we think you should upgrade if you possibly can as the whole experience will be much more special!
